Sebastian D’Acunto spoke to members of “Event Professionals in Connecticut” (EPIC), a business networking group located in Fairfield County. The presentation centered on the effective use of contractual language in services agreements to limit risk exposure. Items covered ranged from structuring payment and performance terms and waivers, to force majeure, limitation of liability and indemnification issues. The presentation was followed by an energetic Q & A session.
