DYLax promotes lacrosse among youth in Darien through grade-level programs open to all interested participants by teaching fundamentals of the game and good sportsmanship, respect for all participants and teamwork, and by cooperating with the Darien High School lacrosse programs. Glen Moore has been a volunteer coach since 1995 and is a current board member and legal counsel.

Special Masters Assignments.

The Connecticut judiciary branch has utilized various family law practitioners, on a volunteer and unpaid basis, to assist the parties and/or their counsel to work towards resolution of outstanding matters in the hope that such cases can be resolved without the need for judicial intervention. Darcy McAlister continues to act as a Family Law Special Masters, which she has done for many years.

Mark Carta is past President of STAR, Inc., Lighting the Way.... STAR is a non-profit organization serving infants, children and adults with developmental disabilities and their families. Mark Carta has served this church in numerous capacities including Chair of its Endowment Committee, Chair of the Personnel Committee, and member of its Session. In addition, for several years Mark served as a “Judge” for the Judicial Committee of the Southern New England Presbytery.
