Mark Carta is the former President, a founder and member of the Board of Directors of A Better Chance of Wilton, Inc. This Wilton, Connecticut based non-profit corporation provides a superior educational and cultural opportunity to high school scholars of color.

Darien Nature Center, Inc.

Glen Moore was a former member of the Board of Directors of the Darien Nature Center, a non-profit organization formed for the purpose of promoting and developing educational programs in ecology, conservation and nature study.

Darien Youth Lacrosse, Inc.

DYLax promotes lacrosse among youth in Darien through grade-level programs open to all interested participants by teaching fundamentals of the game and good sportsmanship, respect for all participants and teamwork, and by cooperating with the Darien High School lacrosse programs. Glen Moore has been a volunteer coach since 1995 and is a current board member and legal counsel.

Margaret Triolo is a former President of the South School Parent Teacher Council and is currently an editor of the New Canaan High School Parent Faculty Association's Monthly Newsletter.

Playground By The Sound, Inc.

Playground by the Sound's purpose was to raise money for the relocation and reconstruction of the playground at Weed Beach in Darien. Glen Moore was involved with this non-profit organization from its formation.

Margaret Triolo is a Religious Education instructor to children preparing for Confirmation.

Silvermine Arts Center

Mark Carta serves on the Board of Directors of the Silvermine Arts Center, a Guild of over 300 professional artists, five galleries presenting new exhibitions every six weeks and sponsoring prestigious regional and national competitions; a gift shop; a School of Art providing a wide range of classes for all levels of experience; public programs; and outreach programs in the Norwalk and Stamford schools.            www.silvermineart.org

Special Masters Assignments.

The Connecticut judiciary branch has utilized various family law practitioners, on a volunteer and unpaid basis, to assist the parties and/or their counsel to work towards resolution of outstanding matters in the hope that such cases can be resolved without the need for judicial intervention. Darcy McAlister continues to act as a Family Law Special Masters, which she has done for many years.

Star, Inc., Lighting the Way.

Mark Carta is past President of STAR, Inc., Lighting the Way.... STAR is a non-profit organization serving infants, children and adults with developmental disabilities and their families. Its mission is "to create opportunities by providing personalized support and advocating for people to live full lives with independence, freedom of choice and personal growth."

The Community Fund of Darien

Glen Moore was a former member of the Board of Directors of The Community Fund of Darien, a unique not-for-profit organization with a two-fold mission: to provide educational, cultural, recreational and civic programs, and to generate funds for scholarships and other philanthropic works within the community.

Wilton Presbyterian Church

Mark Carta has served this church in numerous capacities including Chair of its Endowment Committee, Chair of the Personnel Committee, and member of its Session. In addition, for several years Mark served as a “Judge” for the Judicial Committee of the Southern New England Presbytery.
